Teaching Assistant – Mainstream Primary
Milton Keynes
Start: November 2025 (after half term)
Full Time (Term-Time Only)
Until December – with review and strong potential to extend into 2026
£90 – £100 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

A welcoming primary school in Milton Keynes is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team after half term. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils across mainstream classrooms and gain valuable experience within a nurturing, inclusive school community.
You’ll work closely with class teachers to provide both group and 1:1 support, helping pupils to stay engaged, build confidence, and make steady progress.
Responsibilities:
• Support teaching and learning across the classroom
• Work 1:1 or with small groups to reinforce key skills
• Encourage positive behaviour and participation in lessons
• Help create an inclusive and supportive environment for all pupils
• Assist with classroom preparation and general learning support
Requirements:
• Experience supporting children in a school or childcare setting
• A positive, patient, and proactive attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for helping children succeed academically and personally

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
