Job Title: Teaching Assistant (Secondary School)
Location: Wakefield, Yorkshire
Salary: £77 - £90 daily rate.
Contract: Flexible working, potential to become permanent.
Do you have experience working in schools or with young people? Are you looking for paid work to increase your teacher training experience and application? Our workforce partner schools in Dewsbury are currently looking for a pool of Teaching Assistants to help support them through the new academic term.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, organised and bring a real passion for education to the classroom.
As a Teaching Assistant you could be preparing classroom resources, supporting students and running 1:1 and small group sessions.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience working with young people.
- Be proactive and organised.
- Have a passion and drive for education.
- Work well in a team.
- Be confident in supporting students 1:1.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a good understanding of different learning needs. Candidates must also be UK residents, living in the country for at least 6 months, with valid Right to Work documents and relevant qualifications.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
