Teaching Assistant (1:1 SEND Support) – Full Time | Secondary School | Start ASAP
We’re looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school and provide 1:1 support for students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). This is a full-time role, ideal for someone with experience working closely with SEND students who is passionate about inclusion and making a difference.
What you’ll do:

Provide 1:1 support to students with SEND, helping them access the curriculum and stay engaged

Work closely with teaching staff and the SENDCO to implement individual learning plans
-
Assist with classroom tasks, behaviour support, and building student confidence
-
Monitor progress and provide regular feedback
What we’re looking for:
-
Prior experience supporting SEND students, ideally in a secondary school setting
-
Strong understanding of SEND strategies and a patient, empathetic approach
-
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
-
A proactive and reliable attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
