GRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANT - Walthamstow
Recently graduated and want to gain some invaluable classroom experience before embarking on teacher training?
Do you have experience working with children and want to earn some money while you have your post-university breakdown figuring out what you want to do now you’ve got your degree?
I am looking for graduates living in the East London area to work either on a full or part-time basis as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school near Walthamstow. You would be required to work with pupils in either a small group or 1:1, particularly focussing on closing the attainment gap created by lockdown. You could be helping children with SEN needs with the support of the classroom teacher.

The successful applicants will have:
- Previous experience working with children in some capacity
- Full time availability (or a minimum of three days a week)
- A pro-active, energetic personality with an initiative-driven attitude to work
- Knowledge of core subjects
- Experience of working with SEN children or a willingness to do so

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
