Teaching Assistant Grimsby

Are you looking for an uplifting and rewarding role working with children who require extra care and support within their learning environment? Are you a compassionate person who is looking for a new challenge?

My client is looking to appoint a SEMH Teaching Assistant to join them in September. The role will require you to work 1:1 with a pupil presented with Social, Emotional Behavioural Issues as well as Mental Health. You will also be expected to be able to adapt and support more than 1 student if required.

The role will require an enthusiastic individual with a good understanding of SEMH and the Autism Spectrum. You must maintain an understanding and have a compassionate approach to pupils and their needs and abilities. Experience in another similar role is essential, dealing with impulsive behaviours whilst being supportive. Qualifications within SEN would be an advantage.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will also join Teaching Personnel where we are dedicated to the development of your career! We offer a range of benefits when registering with us:

  • We offer a wide range of training opportunities for teachers and support workers with regular seminars and online courses. Online courses are often completely free exclusively to those registered with Teaching Personnel.

  • An online series of top tips all easily accessible on our website, with links for activities for the classroom.
  • Teaching Personnel offers local coverage with your own personal consultant.

If this sounds like the perfect role for you; just hit the apply now link and send us your CV!

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.
