£85 – £100 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

About the Role

Our trusted partner primary school in Windsor is currently seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team. This is a full-time position, perfect for someone passionate about supporting young children's development in their crucial early learning years.

As an Early Years TA, you will work alongside the class teacher to create a warm, stimulating, and engaging learning environment, supporting both the academic and personal development of children aged 3–5.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the class teacher in delivering the EYFS curriculum through structured play and learning activities.

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to children, including those with additional needs.

  • Assist in planning and preparing age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play.

  • Help to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.

  • Support children with personal care routines as needed.

  • Observe and record children's progress and report back to the teaching team.

  • Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction among children.

  • Help maintain classroom organisation, displays, and learning materials.


Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children in an EYFS or nursery setting is essential.

  • A warm, caring, and patient approach to working with young children.

  • A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3 in Childcare or Supporting Teaching & Learning) – highly desirable.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service (or willing to apply).

  • Right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
