A new opportunity to join the support department within a large secondary school, supporting children aged 11-16.

  • Full-time Teaching Assistant.
  • Required to start in April 2022.
  • Aid students in both small groups and on a 1:1 basis within the classroom.
  • Earn up to £300 per week, depending on experience.
  • Previous or transferrable experience working within education desirable.

Working as a Teaching Assistant in our client school will include supporting children who require additional guidance including students who may display challenging behaviour. The incoming teaching assistant will also be expected to promote positive behaviour management, support the class teacher and guide students with learning difficulties.

To be considered for this role, potential candidates must hold experience working within an educational setting with children and young people or hold skills transferrable to working in a Secondary school. Any specific experience guiding pupils in small groups or on a 1:1 basis is desirable.

Our client school is located in Salford and can be accessed from surrounding areas of Greater Manchester including Bolton, Trafford and central Manchester. For candidates who do not have their own transportation, there are several links to public transportation from central Manchester and the areas surrounding Salford.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
