We are a supply education provider currently seeking reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work across a range of schools in York. We offer both full-time and flexible supply opportunities, making this an excellent option for those seeking regular work or greater flexibility within education.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils across various year groups

• Assist teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery

• Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and confidence in learning

• Support pupils with different abilities to access the curriculum

• Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

• Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff

The Ideal Candidate

We welcome applications from individuals who:

• Have experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential)

• Are patient, adaptable, and professional in their approach

• Communicate effectively and work well as part of a team

• Are reliable, flexible, and committed to supporting pupils

No formal Teaching Assistant qualification is required. Training and ongoing support are provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
