Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for your next full-time opportunity within a secondary school setting? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work across a range of secondary schools throughout the Wirral.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will support students both inside and outside the classroom, helping to create a positive learning environment and ensuring pupils can access the curriculum effectively. You may work with small groups, provide one-to-one support, or assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons across various subject areas.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or within a secondary school environment
  • Strong behaviour management skills and confidence supporting students with varying needs
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
  • A proactive, resilient, and adaptable approach to supporting learning
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel)
  • Full right to work in the UK
