Job description

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, or behavioural challenges?

We are currently recruiting for enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants and Behaviour Support Staff to work within specialist schools and provisions across Warrington.

The role:

  • Supporting pupils with a range of SEN and SEMH needs

  • Helping pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally

  • Providing positive behaviour support

  • Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils

  • Working closely with teachers and specialist support staff

  • Creating a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment

We are looking for people who:

  • Have experience working with children or young people

  • Have experience with SEN, SEMH or challenging behaviour, or are keen to develop their experience

  • Are patient, resilient and compassionate

  • Can remain calm and consistent when supporting challenging behaviour

  • Are committed to helping young people reach their potential

Pay: Competitive daily rates depending on role and experience
Location: Warrington
Hours: Full-time, term-time
Start: Immediate/current opportunities available

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
