  • Start Dates between the 9th of April and the 6th of May
  • Full and Part Time positions available (Up to 35 hours a week)
  • Pay: £12.85 - £13.00 per hour, depending on prior level of experience

We are currently looking to recruit several new members to join our group of Teaching Assistants, covering the local schools of Tenby.

If you are somebody looking to get into education, are currently studying or a recent graduate looking for a head start into employment, you may be interested in the roles we currently have on offer.

What will I be doing?

As a Teaching Assistant you will be helping out the teacher in their day-to-day activities in the classroom.

Some of the roles include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting the children in the class with basic literary and numeracy
  • Helping pupils diagnosed with learning difficulties throughout the day, offering encouragement and support.
  • Aiding the teacher with extra activities outside the classroom, including things like Sports Days and assemblies
  • Maintaining a good standard of behaviour within the classroom environment

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate for this position will be punctual, professional, but more importantly we’re looking for people who would like to progress through the education career ladder.

We offer Cover Supervisor training, as well as a wide array of other training courses, that once you have under your belt can open the opportunity for higher pay and permanent contracts with the school.

Requirements to work through us:

  • The Right to Work in the UK (Passport or a Birth Certificate)
  • A valid proof of address (Driving Licence, Council Tax Bill, or a recent utility bill/bank statement)
  • Valid referee details (Character references are fine if you have no prior work experience!)
  • *This position is also pending an Enhanced DBS Check on the Update Service. If you already have this, we can use your pre-existing check.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
