Teaching Assistant – Shaftesbury
Teaching Assistant | Secondary School | Shaftesbury | Immediate Start
Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant in Shaftesbury to join a supportive secondary school on a temporary basis, with opportunities available for candidates looking to start ASAP.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or someone with relevant experience working with children and young people who is looking to develop their career within education.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and pupils to provide additional classroom support and help students make progress. You may be supporting individuals or small groups, assisting with classroom activities and helping create a positive learning environment.
The role could suit someone with previous experience in a school, college, youth work, childcare or SEND setting, although applications from candidates with transferable experience are also welcomed.
What we're looking for:

Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable

A genuine interest in supporting pupils with their learning

Good communication and interpersonal skills

A patient, positive and adaptable approach

The ability to work effectively as part of a school team

Relevant education, childcare or SEND experience would be advantageous
