Contract: Full-time (term-time only)

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in Sunderland for a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting pupils to achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will work across the KS2 classrooms, providing general classroom support while also delivering targeted interventions to small groups of pupils.
The Role:
Provide high-quality classroom support across Key Stage 2.
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
Plan and deliver small group intervention sessions to support pupils with their learning.
Encourage pupil engagement, confidence, and independence.
Support the school's positive learning environment and behaviour expectations.
The Ideal Candidate
Holds a recognised Teaching Assistant qualification.
Has previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within Key Stage 2.
Is confident leading small intervention groups in literacy and numeracy.
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Is proactive, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Demonstrates a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
