Primary Teacher – S2 Sheffield

Location: S2 and surrounding areas
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time and part-time opportunities available
Pay: £130–£180 per day, depending on experience

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Primary Teachers to work across a range of welcoming and supportive schools in the S2 area of Sheffield from September 2026.

We are looking for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers who are passionate about providing high-quality learning experiences and making a positive difference to children’s education.

The Role

As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Supporting pupils to achieve their academic and personal potential.
• Managing behaviour effectively using positive behaviour strategies.
• Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly.
• Working closely with teaching assistants, support staff and school leadership.
• Maintaining strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Contributing to the wider life of the school.

We Are Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A genuine passion for working with primary-aged children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to adapt to different school environments and year groups.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
