Job Title: Full-Time Teaching Assistant
Location: Salisbury
Start Date: September
Salary: £19,000 – £26,200 per annum (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Permanent
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a well-respected primary school in Salisbury on a full-time, permanent basis starting in September. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning and development across a range of age groups.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2), depending on experience and school needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide classroom support to teachers across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
- Deliver targeted 1:1 support for pupils who require additional assistance
- Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Assist in the preparation of learning materials and classroom activities
- Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals
About You
- Previous experience in Early Years or a classroom-based setting is highly desirable
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Flexible and adaptable approach to working across different year groups

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
