Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: Norwich
Hours: Monday to Friday - 08:30 – 15:30
Start Date: ASAP
You will work across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2, supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons and ensuring all pupils feel supported and included in the classroom.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Support pupils’ learning in the classroom under the direction of the class teacher
• Provide one-to-one or small group support, particularly in early literacy and numeracy
• Assist with preparing and tidying classroom resources and learning activities
• Help manage behaviour in a positive and consistent way
• Support the social and emotional wellbeing of pupils
• Supervise children during playtimes or lunchtimes when required
We welcome applicants who are:
• Passionate about working with young children and supporting their development
• Positive, nurturing, and confident communicators
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Hold GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths (or equivalent)
• Previous experience working in a primary school or with children is desirable, but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
