The Role
You’ll work closely with teachers and school staff to support pupils with a variety of academic, social, and behavioural needs. Every day will bring new challenges and experiences, but your impact will be felt consistently.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting pupils during lessons to maintain focus and engagement
- Assisting with literacy and numeracy activities
- Promoting positive behaviour through clear expectations and consistency
- Helping to create a structured, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
- Collaborating with teachers and staff to support pupil development and progress
This is a practical, people-focused role where you’ll play a key part in pupils’ day-to-day success.

You don’t need formal qualifications — we’re looking for the right attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
We’re looking for individuals who are:
- Calm, dependable, and resilient
- Positive role models with a confident and approachable manner
- Flexible and open to working across different school environments
- Strong communicators who work effectively as part of a team
Experience in education, childcare, coaching, youth work, or care is advantageous, but not essential.

Essential Requirement
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required, as travel between schools may be needed at short notice.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
