Unqualified Teaching Assistant Opportunity – Supporting Students Across the Greater Norwich Area

As this role may involve supporting students across multiple sites and educational settings, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle would be highly advantageous, enabling you to travel confidently throughout the Greater Norwich area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with students from a range of backgrounds and with varying educational, emotional, and behavioural needs.
- Implement personalised support strategies to build confidence, independence, and personal development.
- Assist in teaching essential life skills alongside literacy and numeracy development.
- Create a supportive and structured environment that encourages positive communication and self-regulation.
- Plan and facilitate engaging activities that promote peer interaction, teamwork, and community involvement.
- Support students both within the classroom and during wider school activities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with young people, ideally within an educational, care, youth work, or support setting.
- A full UK driving licence and access to transport is highly desirable due to the nature of supporting students across the Greater Norwich area.
- Adaptability and flexibility to work effectively in different educational environments.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting young people with diverse needs.
- A proactive approach to encouraging positive behaviour and developing meaningful relationships.
- A willingness to engage in ongoing training and professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
