Primary & SEND Teaching Assistants – Maidstone & Surrounding Areas

  • Location: Maidstone & surrounding areas, Kent
  • Pay: £85–£110 per day
  • Days: Full-time, 5 days per week
  • Contract: Long-term with temp-to-perm opportunities
  • Start Date: January

Teaching Personnel is hiring enthusiastic Primary and SEND Teaching Assistants for schools across Maidstone and the wider Kent area. We have a range of January start roles in both mainstream primary schools and SEND provisions, supporting pupils with a variety of additional needs.

Whether you’re looking for a role as a general TA, 1:1 support, or within a dedicated SEND school, we can help place you somewhere that suits your strengths and career goals.


About the Roles

  • Positions in SEND settings supporting Autism, SEMH, MLD, SLD and other additional needs
  • Opportunities in mainstream primary schools (classroom support & 1:1 roles)
  • Long-term roles available immediately for January starts

  • Weekly pay and consistent working hours

We’re Looking For

  • Caring, proactive individuals who enjoy supporting young learners
  • Experience in SEND or primary support (preferred, not essential)
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • People who can build rapport and encourage pupil progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
