Job Title: Secondary School Teaching Assistant
Salary: £89– £110 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time / Long-term
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role:
Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and keen to make a real difference in the lives of young people.
You will be working closely with teachers and other support staff to help students reach their full potential, providing tailored academic and emotional support both in and out of the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:

Support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, either one-to-one or in small groups

Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
-
Encourage and motivate students to engage in learning
-
Support pupils with additional learning needs or behavioural challenges
-
Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
-
Previous experience supporting young people (school or youth setting preferred)
-
A genuine passion for education and helping others succeed
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
-
A valid child workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
