Initially 1 Term – potential for extension
£85 – £95 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

A welcoming primary school in Luton is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time for the Autumn Term. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about education and eager to contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
You’ll be working closely with class teachers to support whole-class learning, as well as providing additional support for small groups and individual pupils. The role will run for one term initially, with the possibility of extending further.
Responsibilities:
- Support the teacher in delivering engaging lessons across the primary phase
- Provide tailored support for pupils in small groups and 1:1 settings
- Help prepare learning resources and maintain a well-organised classroom
- Promote positive behaviour, independence, and engagement
- Support pupil wellbeing and ensure safeguarding standards are upheld
Requirements:
- Experience working with children (school-based experience desirable)
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE or equivalent)
- A positive, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and child development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
