Job description

Reception Teaching Assistants Required (Multiple Applicants Required)

Location- Leatherhead, Surrey

Pay- £12.90-£16.00 per hour

Start- February 2026

Hours- Full Time (08:30-15:30)

 

At Teaching Personnel, we are seeking multiple dedicated and experienced reception teaching assistants to join one of our Ofsted rated ‘Good’ schools in the Leatherhead area. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone passionate about early childhood education to make a meaningful impact on our youngest learners. We currently have a primary school actively seeking at least one teaching assistant to start after February half term. The school are open to applicants seeking a longer term or permanent position.

 

Requirements:

-Experience working in Reception/Early Years

-Enthusiastic, nurturing, and committed to fostering a safe and engaging learning environment for children.

-Be confident, self-motivated, and professional with a passion for education

-Hold or be prepared to undergo an enhanced DBS check- Child only

-Be patient, caring and engaging

-Be reliable, punctual, and willing to go the extra mile

-Be positive role models for younger students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
