KS1 & KS2 Teaching Assistant – Morecambe & Surrounding Areas
Locations: Morecambe • Heysham • Carnforth • Local surrounding primary schools
Start Date: 23rd February 2026
Competitive Hourly Rate: £13.75–£14.50
Supply roles – full-time and part-time available
Teaching Personnel are working closely with several primary schools across Morecambe and the surrounding areas who require enthusiastic, committed, and proactive Teaching Assistants to support pupils across KS1 and KS2. These supply roles offer the opportunity to work in a range of school settings while helping pupils thrive academically and personally.
About the Role
As a KS1/KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support the class teacher with delivering engaging and differentiated learning activities
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group intervention support
- Assist with phonics, literacy, numeracy and topic-based learning
- Support pupils with additional needs, including SEN
- Help maintain a positive, inclusive and well‑structured classroom environment
These positions are available as day‑to‑day, short‑term, and long‑term supply, with chances for school‑based contracts for the right candidates.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
