Supportive SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity

Full-time | Immediate Start | 4–16 | 8.30am to 3.40pm

A welcoming and well-resourced specialist school in Frome is looking for a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with moderate and severe learning difficulties.

Your Role

  • Provide classroom and 1:1 support
  • Assist with communication and engagement strategies
  • Help create a safe and stimulating environment
  • Support pupils with varying learning needs

 

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Calm, patient and resilient approach
  • Genuine interest in SEN education

Enhanced DBS required (or willingness to apply – approx. £49.50 via the government DBS service).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
