Teaching Assistants (TA) – Full Time & Part Time Opportunities
Primary Schools in Fareham
Start Date: September 2026
Several welcoming and supportive primary schools in the Fareham area are looking to recruit committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants (TA) for both full-time and part-time roles starting in September 2026.
In the role of a Teaching Assistant/TA, you will support pupils across a range of abilities, helping to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment where every child can succeed. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone passionate about education and making a real difference in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-to-one and small group support as a Teaching Assistant/TA
- Work alongside teachers to support lesson delivery
- Provide additional support for pupils with SEN
- Help maintain a positive and structured classroom environment
- Track and report on pupil progress where required

- Previous experience working with children or young people (desirable, not essential)
- A caring, patient, and flexible approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine interest in supporting children’s development and learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
