Teaching Assistant

Role Overview

The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support learning, provide targeted intervention, and help create a positive, well-structured classroom environment. The role involves a blend of whole-class support, small‑group work, and occasional 1:1 assistance depending on pupil needs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting pupils’ learning across a range of subjects and year groups.

• Delivering small‑group activities to reinforce key skills and boost progress.

• Assisting with classroom preparation, organisation, and resource management.

• Helping to implement behaviour expectations and promote positive routines.

• Providing additional support to pupils who may need extra guidance or reassurance.

• Contributing to a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
