Job Description

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking experienced teaching assistants who are passionate about supporting children through their education. We are recruiting for the County Durham area (DH8) starting ASAP.

What You’ll Be Doing

-          Assist with the planning and delivery of engaging, play-based activities.

-          Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development.

-          Provide targeted help for individuals and small groups, ensuring every child can access learning.

-          Work in partnership with staff, parents, and specialists to meet the needs of all learners.

-          Contribute to a calm, inclusive and purposeful learning environment.

Requirements

-          Has previous experience working in EYFS.

-          Is passionate about early childhood development

-          Demonstrates patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.

-          Can adapt to different situations and respond positively to challenges.

-          Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

-          Holds a minimum Level 3 TA qualification.
