Are you a flexible and reliable Teaching Assistant looking for work across secondary schools in Wimbledon and the surrounding South West London areas?
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a range of mainstream secondary schools who are seeking adaptable Teaching Assistants to provide last-minute and short-term support, helping to maintain a positive learning environment and support students when staffing needs arise.
About the Role

Supporting students across KS3–KS4 in and out of the classroom
-
Providing in-class support, one-to-one assistance, or small group interventions
-
Opportunities across Wimbledon, Merton, Kingston, Sutton, and nearby areas
-
Day-to-day and short-term bookings, with potential for longer-term roles
-
Ideal for candidates able to accept early-morning (7am) calls for same-day cover
-
Flexible full-time and part-time options available
What We’re Looking For
✔️ Previous experience working with young people (school experience preferred)
✔️ A calm, proactive approach to supporting students
✔️ Flexibility and reliability, including availability for last-minute bookings
✔️ Ability to travel to local schools at short notice
✔️ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
