Role Overview:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the classroom, supporting the lead teacher in delivering engaging lessons and fostering a positive learning atmosphere. This position is ideal for individuals looking to make a difference in students’ lives and gain valuable experience in the education sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support individual students or small groups with their learning activities.
- Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teacher.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as grading and record-keeping.
- Facilitate classroom management and promote positive behavior.
- Participate in school events and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in a school or educational setting (preferred but not required).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A degree in education or a related field is a plus but not mandatory.

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £38, plus an annual subscription fee of £13 for the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
