This is a full-time, permanent position starting on Monday 13th April, offering an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive and forward-thinking school community.
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely within the school’s additional needs provision, supporting students who require tailored approaches to learning. You will play a key role in helping pupils access the curriculum, build confidence, and develop essential social and emotional skills.
The role involves:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support for students with additional needs
- Assisting with the delivery of personalised learning plans
- Supporting students with behavioural needs in a calm and structured manner
- Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff
- Promoting a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced working with young people, ideally in a secondary school setting
- Confident supporting students with behavioural needs
- Knowledgeable or experienced in supporting students with Autism (desirable)
- Patient, resilient, and empathetic
- A strong team player with excellent communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
