This is a full-time, permanent position starting on Monday 13th April, offering an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive and forward-thinking school community.

About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely within the school’s additional needs provision, supporting students who require tailored approaches to learning. You will play a key role in helping pupils access the curriculum, build confidence, and develop essential social and emotional skills.

The role involves:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support for students with additional needs
• Assisting with the delivery of personalised learning plans
• Supporting students with behavioural needs in a calm and structured manner
• Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff
• Promoting a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment

About You
We are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced working with young people, ideally in a secondary school setting
• Confident supporting students with behavioural needs
• Knowledgeable or experienced in supporting students with Autism (desirable)
• Patient, resilient, and empathetic
• A strong team player with excellent communication skills
