Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant in the Bournemouth 

A mainstream school in the Bournemouth area are seeking a a KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full time basis. This teaching assistant role will start ASAP with the potential of becoming longer term.

The successful teaching assistant, will be helping the class teacher with the day to day running’s of the classroom. They will be required to support children’s learning in all areas, following the national curriculum in Personal, social and emotional development. The ideal candidate will be required to run small group intervention sessions to lower achieving children to raise attainment.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

• Strong behaviour management with a flexible approach
• Enthusiastic, creative and a passionate nature
• Bright, positive, dedicated and inspiring personality
• Sen experience would be ideal but not essential 
• eligibility to work in the UK
• 2 references
• An enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
