Teaching Assistant
Location: Birmingham (B38)
Pay: £90-105 per day
Contract: Fulltime/Term-time only
Teaching Personnel Birmingham is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in welcoming and supportive primary schools across Birmingham in the B38 area

The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Following Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) where applicable
Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs, including SEND
- Help promote positive behaviour in line with school policies
- Assist in preparing classroom resources and learning materials
- Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers
- Support children’s emotional wellbeing and development
- Follow safeguarding procedures to ensure a safe learning environment
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children (school, childcare, youth work or similar)
- A patient, caring and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
- A commitment to supporting pupils of all abilities
- Contribute to the wider school community – attend staff meeting and training
- Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Updated service
Relevant qualifications (Level 3 Teaching Assistant) are essential for the right candidate

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
