Job Title: Teaching Assistant (Secondary School)
Location: B13, Birmingham
Contract: full-time (we unfortunatley can not support with sponsorship)
Start Date:September 2025.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a partnered secondary school based in B13, Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a TA within a UK secondary school setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Supporting classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
-
Assisting students with their learning and development needs.
-
Providing one-to-one or small group support for pupils as required.
-
Helping to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
-
Supporting administrative tasks related to classroom activities.
Candidate Requirements:
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Teaching Assistant in a UK secondary school.

Strong understanding of secondary school curriculum and student needs.
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Ability to work collaboratively within a school team.
-
DBS clearance (or willingness to undergo).
-
Commitment to supporting students’ academic and personal development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
