Teaching Assistant

- Ad Hoc (5 days across April, May, and June)
- £95 – £100 per day
A welcoming and community-focused primary school in Bedford is seeking a Year 3 Teaching Assistant to provide cover across a handful of pre-planned dates during the summer term. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in KS2 or pick up additional flexible work in a supportive school environment.
The school is part of a respected multi-academy trust, offering a collaborative network of staff, shared resources, and consistent support across its schools.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support the Year 3 class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities
- Work with small groups and individual pupils to support learning
- Help maintain a positive and focused classroom environment
- Provide general classroom support where needed
Essential Job Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a primary school setting
- Confident supporting Key Stage 2 pupils
- Flexible, reliable, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
