Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel is pleased to support schools across Kent in recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants. This is a great opportunity to work closely with teachers to support pupils’ learning and development in a positive school environment.

The Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will assist classroom teachers by supporting individual or small groups of pupils, helping to create a focused and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils with learning tasks and activities.

• Assist with classroom management and organisation.

• Help prepare and supervise learning materials.

• Support children with additional needs where required.

• Encourage positive behaviour and promote inclusion.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children in an educational or care setting is preferred but not essential.

• Good communication skills and a caring attitude.

• Willingness to support pupils with a range of abilities.

• Reliable and flexible approach to work.

• DBS clearance (or willingness to apply via Teaching Personnel).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
