The Role

As a Teaching Assistant / Learning Coach, you will:

• Support students with a variety of learning needs, both individually and in small groups
• Work alongside teachers to enhance learning within the classroom
• Help students build confidence, resilience and independence
• Support students with SEND and additional learning needs
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
• Contribute positively to the wider pastoral and academic support systems within the school

We are seeking someone who:

• Has GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)
• Communicates effectively with students, parents and colleagues
• Has a warm, approachable and supportive manner
• Is organised, adaptable and able to use initiative
• Is committed to helping all students achieve their full potential
• Enjoys working as part of a team

Previous experience in a Teaching Assistant, Learning Coach or similar support role would be advantageous, although training and development will be provided.
