Teaching Assistant – Amesbury
Teaching Personnel are looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join primary schools across the Amesbury area!
We have regular opportunities available, including ad-hoc, short-term and long-term roles. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and is confident supporting children both 1:1 and in small groups.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support
- Helping pupils engage with their learning and build confidence
- Supporting children with a range of SEN and behavioural needs
- Working alongside teachers and school staff to create a positive learning environment
Who We're Looking For:
We're looking for someone who is:
- Patient, understanding and approachable
- Comfortable working with children on a 1:1 or small-group basis
- Confident supporting behaviour and SEN
- Reliable and adaptable
- Experienced in a school setting, or has relevant experience working with children
What We Offer:
- £90–£95 per day, depending on experience
- Flexible ad-hoc, short-term and long-term opportunities

- Access to Teaching Personnel training and CPD
Requirements:
An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service is preferred, or you must be willing to obtain one through Teaching Personnel. Full safeguarding and compliance checks will be completed as part of registration.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
