Full-Time Teaching Assistants Required - Accrington Secondary Schools

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistants to work on a full-time basis within a variety of mainstream secondary schools across the Accrington area. These roles offer an excellent opportunity to support young people in their education while gaining valuable experience within supportive school environments.

The Role:

• Supporting students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 within mainstream classroom settings.
• Working alongside class teachers to help deliver engaging and effective lessons.
• Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils who require additional assistance.
• Assisting with classroom management and promoting positive behaviour.
• Helping students to remain engaged, motivated and achieve their full potential.

We Are Looking For:

• Previous experience working with secondary-aged students in a school, college, youth work, coaching or similar educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, proactive and enthusiastic approach.
• The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• A genuine passion for supporting young people and their educational development.

Whether you have previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Cover Supervisor or Youth Worker, we'd love to hear from you.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
