About the Role
We are growing our network of Teaching Assistants to support a variety of primary schools across Abergavenny and the surrounding areas.
Opportunities may include:
- Classroom Teaching Assistant roles supporting the class teacher.
- Small group intervention support.
- One-to-one support for pupils who require additional assistance.
- Supporting children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) and Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Helping to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.

Registration & Compliance Requirements
To work through Teaching Personnel, all successful applicants must complete our registration and safeguarding process, including:
✔ An Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a DBS through Teaching Personnel.
✔ Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
✔ Provision of professional references covering the last two years.
✔ Completion of all required vetting and safeguarding checks before being cleared for work.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
