Teaching Assistant for SEN School - Newbury

Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working with multiple SEN Schools in the Newbury area.

We are urgently looking for Teaching Assistants that have experience with SEN students such as PMLD, SLD, Autism and Makaton. Alternatively they are looking for someone who is passionate about gaining experience working within an SEN school and willing to undertake the appropriate training.

I work with both Primary and Secondary schools where the students have a range of SEN such as PMLD, Autism, SLD and Complex Needs.

Currently I am looking for Teaching Assistants in the following areas for confirmed vacancies:

Newbury 

Thatcham

Reading

We are always looking for candidates that can get to other areas as we all know the schools staffing situations can change on a daily basis so if you have other areas you prefer to get to please do not hesitate to give me a call to discuss other options.

The ideal candidate could have:

Experience working with students with SEN

Full UK driving licence

Personal experience supporting someone with SEN

Previous experience in an Education / Youth Work or Residential setting

Experience in Makaton / PECs

Comfortable with Personal Care

Child Workforce DBS registered to the update service
