Teaching Assistant – EYFS (Full-Time, Temporary)
Withernsea, Hull
£90–£100 per day (dependent on experience)
Full-time | Term-time only | Temporary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Withernsea, Hull, working within an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) classroom. This is a full-time, term-time only temporary position, available for an immediate start, and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to pupils’ early development and learning.
Key Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 and small group support to children within the EYFS setting

Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, play-based learning activities
-
Support children’s early development in phonics, literacy, and numeracy
-
Promote positive behaviour, social skills, and emotional well-being
-
Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment

Work collaboratively with teaching staff and support colleagues to meet individual pupil needs
The Ideal Candidate

Motivated, flexible, and eager to learn
Previous experience working with children or in an early years/school setting is desirable but not essential, as training and ongoing support can be provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
