What does a Teaching Assistant do?

• Supporting pupils in the classroom (1:1 or in small groups) ‍
• Helping children stay engaged and on task
• Assisting the teacher with daily activities and lesson prep
• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs (ALN/SEN)
• Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Providing a safe, nurturing environment for learning

What we’re looking for:

• GCSE Maths & English (or equivalent) ✔️
• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ideally a driver (due to working across different schools)
• Flexibility to take both pre-booked work and morning calls
