Teaching Assistant – Complex Needs SEN School

Location: Stafford
Pay: £93- £125 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only
Start Date: September 2026

Teaching Personnel is working with a specialist SEN school in Stafford seeking a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex learning needs from September.

The successful candidate will work within a specialist classroom environment, supporting pupils on a 2:1 funded basis and helping them access learning, develop independence, and achieve their individual targets.

We currently have:

  • x2 positions

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
  • Patient, caring, and resilient approach.
  • Comfortable supporting pupils with complex needs.
  • Experience within education, care, support work, healthcare, or residential settings is desirable.

Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Two professional references covering the last two years.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
