Teaching Assistant (Autism)

Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Primary School is in the in central Wakefield (WF3) who are looking for a caring and passionate teaching assistant who is experienced in supporting children who have special needs to work alongside 1:1 a little girl who has who has Autism.

A successful candidate will have the right attitude alongside some experience in order to meet the demands of the role supporting the 9-year-old girl. You must be committed to building a trusting relationship with the pupil, so you can successfully encourage her to participate in learning. The school welcomes those who have experience working in SEN schools, with a pro-active and engaging personality.

The Head teacher is looking for someone who can understand the needs of the child and support their learning. This role would be starting full time from February 2021 (when the children return to school) and they wish to make a start on online interviews asap.

The successful candidate will be working full time hours 8:30am – 15:30am

 Pay - up to GBP90 per day depending on experience.
