TEACHING ASSISTANT WANTED (SEN)

Location – SWANSEA

We are looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and professional Teaching Assistant in the Swansea area.

About the role:

Support pupils with a wide range of additional needs such as:

Dyslexia & Dyscalculia

SCLN (Speech, Language, and Communication Needs)

SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs)

You may be required to work in either small groups or 1 to 1, allowing pupils to engage and regulate emotions.

Working with pupils with IDPs may be required to allow for personalised support.

Responsibilities

Support pupils learning

Using resources to assist with individual needs

Work alongside other staff members whilst supporting teachers

Create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all pupils

Requirements

GCSE (5 Cs and above)

Enhanced DBS check

EWC registration (or willing to register if not already)

Previous experience working with pupils who require ALN (desired)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
