Job description

Teaching Personnel are working alongside a lovely local school in the B47 area is seeking a confident, enthusiastic, and reliable Cover Teacher to join their supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a vibrant school where children are eager to learn, staff are welcoming, and every day brings something new.

We are looking for someone who can step into the classroom with confidence, inspire pupils through engaging lessons, and create a positive environment where children feel encouraged to succeed.

Your Role

  • Deliver fun and engaging pre-planned lessons across primary year groups
  • Maintain a calm, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Support pupils’ progress, participation, and confidence
  • Manage behaviour effectively using positive strategies
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff following lessons
  • Uphold the school’s safeguarding and behaviour policies at all times

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has experience teaching in primary schools
  • Is adaptable, organised, and enthusiastic
  • Has excellent classroom management skills
  • Builds positive relationships quickly with pupils and staff
  • Is passionate about supporting children’s development and wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
