Salary: MPS -UPS, Suitable for ECT’s
Location: Central Derby
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a large Multi Academy Trust across Derbyshire, to support with their search for a Teacher of Science.
The ideal candidate would have:
- Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with Biology, Chemistry and Physics backgrounds welcome
- Understanding and application of the curriculum and strategies to raise standards across the ability range through effective teaching and learning
- Holds QTS
The role and responsibilities:
- Full-Time, fixed-term contract
- 20 hours teaching, 5 hours PPA
- Track students’ progress and use assessment information to inform teaching and learning
- Assist in the development of appropriate syllabuses, resources, schemes of work, marking policies and teaching strategies in the curriculum/learning area

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
