Teacher of Religious Education (RE)
Full-Time - Temporary Cover - September 2026/January 2027 Start
MPS/UPS (Paid to Scale)

One of our welcoming and high performing secondary school partners in the NG2 area is looking to appoint a passionate Teacher of Religious Education to join their team from September 2026 for an Autumn term cover position.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who enjoys bringing thoughtful discussion, curiosity, and real world relevance into the classroom. The school has built a strong reputation for its inclusive culture, supportive leadership, and clear values-driven ethos, alongside consistently positive Ofsted recognition.

The successful candidate will teach RE across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons that encourage students to think critically, respectfully, and independently. You’ll be joining a collaborative humanities department where staff are genuinely valued and supported.

The school is looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has experience teaching RE at KS3 and KS4
  • Builds strong relationships with students and colleagues
  • Brings energy, warmth, and professionalism to the classroom

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
