Teaching Personnel is working closely with several welcoming and high-performing secondary schools in Bedford that are seeking skilled Modern Foreign Languages Teachers, specialising in French, Spanish, or German, to join their teams from January 2026.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

A specialism in French, Spanish, or German

Excellent subject knowledge and a strong understanding of the secondary curriculum

Effective classroom management and communication skills

The ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities

Experience teaching GCSE and/or A-Level (desirable but not essential)

A commitment to promoting high expectations and a genuine passion for language learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
