Teacher of Maths and Science – Basingstoke – Permanent Role Starting January 2026

A successful secondary school in Basingstoke is looking for an enthusiastic and talented Teacher of Maths and Science (or Science and Maths) to join their team from January 2026 on a permanent, full-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who enjoys variety and is confident delivering both subjects across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Your Role:
- Full-time, permanent teaching position starting January 2026
- Deliver engaging Maths and Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Encourage analytical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific curiosity
- Play an active role in the school’s wider community and curriculum development
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Strong subject knowledge in both Maths and Science
- Ability to teach creatively and adapt lessons for mixed-ability groups
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A teacher who is passionate about shaping confident, capable learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
